Tim Chiasson: San Jose Sharks Team Canada Kids, Martin Jones New Bucket I bet Dean Lombardi didn't anticipate that new design when he shipped him East.

Barzal didn't stand out to me any more than Chartier did tbh.. He's alright, not a fantastic talent like marner or even anyone else drafted in the top 10..

If I was picking Canada's roster I would go with something like this:

Crouse Strome. Marner
Dal colle. Point. Konecny
Merkeley Fabri. Virtanen
Perlini Barzal. Ho-sang
Chartier

Fleury. Mckeown
Chabot. Roy
Sanheim. Hickets
Dermott

Blackwood
Mcdonald

I had an odd dream last night. A minor league team was relocated near me and was holding an open contest for a job as Assistant GM. They had a few hundred people come in and take a written test and the top 10 scores on the test would get an interview.

Like most tests taken while dreaming, I didn't do too well. In fact I didn't get past writing my name, which I incorrectly wrote as "Plubert".

I thought some of the questions on it were interesting though. I tried to remember them word for word so I could write them here:

1. What are the three most important stats for forwards?

2. What are the three most important stats for defencemen?

3. What is Corsi and how does it relate to puck possession? Why is this important?

4. What are some characteristics you look for in players who can provide more value than their cap hit suggests?

There were more questions on the back but they also taped a chocolate bar to the back of the paper so I was more interested in that.

Not liking Canada's D as much this year. Guess we were spoiled last year.

Interesting to see what Jones does for SJ. Scrivens was a rock when he played for LA too. I'm not sold. Certainly not for a 1st rd pick.

But I think he's better than Scrivens. Could be worse and pay a 1st for Lehner!!! hahaha

So what i take out of this write up......you only watched a lil bit of the game....Chartier = Meh. But your boy Barzal woohoo! I think you're a lil biased towards Barzal, I could only imagine what you'd say if he was a Leaf.

It just happened I caught a lot of Barzal's shifts is all and Chartier looked like a panzy when I caught his. Honesty is the best policy Thomas.

Yeah, he is underrated or i should say didn't get to much love last season. But atleast team Canada knows whats up & knows he's a helluva player. I hope he makes the cut, i mean i hope all 3 make it. That would just make my day & i can boast about them even more.

It's starting to look like none of them will make it :/ Chartier might have the best chance
